Founded in 1989, Lamtek remains a family-run business built on strong values of craftsmanship, quality and customer service. Over the years, we’ve grown significantly, now operating from three state-of-the-art manufacturing plants, spanning an impressive 125,000 square feet. Our team of over 80 skilled professionals is dedicated to producing durable, well-crafted furniture components that stand the test of time.

We believe great manufacturing should also be responsible. That’s why we prioritise local sourcing wherever possible and ensure that every carcass we produce is made from UK-manufactured melamine-faced chipboard, all of which is FSC® certified. This reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, helping to create a greener future without compromising on quality.

All of the excess offcuts are burnt to provide heat for our factories; this includes all the chipboard particles generated from our machining processes which are transferred via our integrated extraction system into our wood waste burner. This reduces the companies need to use landfill sites for waste disposal, contributing towards helping our environment.
